Abstract: 

As the most complex manufactured structures, cities face excessive population growth. Their expansion has intensified on high-risk sites, and the available evidence also indicates the continuous increase of all types of natural crises in terms of intensity and frequency. Scientific and experimental findings show that the best way to deal with danger is to promote the Resilience of settlements in different dimensions (social, economic-livelihood, physical-spatial and institutional); in other words, Resilience in both human and environmental dimensions comprehensively. It decreases and increases. This research has evaluated and analyzed the components of Resilience in Sari. The method of the present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical and field in nature. The statistical population in this research includes citizens living in the four districts of Sari, and the sample size was determined based on Cochran's formula of 383 people, who were selected from among the statistical population by stratified sampling. The questionnaire is the method of collecting library and field information and its most important tool. For data analysis, descriptive and inferential statistics (one-sample t-test and structural equation modeling) were used by SPSS and Smart PLS software, and entropy and SAW models were exerted. The research results indicate that the situation of the four regions of Sari regarding social components has better conditions than other dimensions of Resilience. In terms of institutional components, they have a vulnerable state. According to the entropy model, among the components of Resilience, the institutional dimension has the most weight, and the economic dimension has the least weight. Moreover, according to the SAV model, Region 1 ranks first, and Region 3 of Sari ranks last in having the components of Resilience dimensions.

Abstract: 

Criticism is judging the merits and demerits of something and showing its weaknesses and strengths. Textbook evaluation, as a small step in learning and teaching process, can help teachers and learners find books that suit their needs and likes. In the present article, the book ‘ Educational Psychology’ (the 13th global edition) authored by Anita Woolfolk (2016) is reviewed and evaluated. This is a qualitative evaluation based on the writer’ s experience in teaching this source in postgraduate classes for several years. To do so, the formal characteristics and the content of the book and the degree of its success in fulfilling the objectives, which are mentioned in the introduction of the book, are examined. Although this book, like any other book, is not flawless, it can surely be recommended to those who are interested in the learning-teaching process. It is hoped that, via this article, this book would be read and used by more people in the scientific community of Iran.

Abstract: 

Purpose: Resilience in start-ups is a challenging issue that has caught the attention of policymakers and business owners. The present study is an attempt to provide a model for designing the Resilience model of start-up businesses as a path to the future of start-up businesses. Method: This research is practical in terms of purpose and from the perspective of data collection is a qualitative research that has been done by content analysis method. The data collection method is semi-structured interview. Interviews with participants continued until they reached the theoretical saturation point, which was achieved by conducting 15 interviews. Participants were selected by snowball and purposeful method and data analysis was done through three coding steps (open, axial, selective) with MAXQDA2020 software. Findings: Based on the research results, the components of "cognitive Resilience, financial Resilience, adaptive Resilience" as well as the effective organizational factors of "precedent, drivers and boys and Resilience consequences" were identified. In this research, foresight and futures studies were identified as the drivers of Resilience of start-up businesses. Conclusion: Resilience enables businesses to respond effectively to the dynamic conditions of their environment and maximize their competencies through strategic foresight and as a result gain more value than their competitors in the field of business. In this regard, the integration of foresight in the process of business Resilience can be suggested as a facilitator of drivers.

Abstract: 

This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of teaching self-regulated metacognitive learning strategies on Educational Resilience and procrastination of Tabriz secondary school students in 1396-97 academic year. It was a semi-experimental research with pre and post-test control group design. The research population included Tabriz secondary school students. The research sample consisted of 60 students with high Educational Resilience who were selected through a preliminary study and a multi-stage cluster sampling method. Then, they were assigned to experimental and control groups, using a targeted substitution method. The experimental group participated in the training sessions for autonomous-metacognitive strategies for 12 sessions and the control group did not receive any intervention. For the experimental group, the curriculum was self-regulated metacognitivestrategies-forological and for the control group-the normal daily education. The tools used in this research were: academic resiliency (Samuels & Woo, 2009) and academic procrastination (Solomon & Rothblum, 1984). Data were analyzed using multivariate covariance. The results of multivariate covariance analysis indicated that training self-regulated metacognitive strategies increased and improved the components of academic achievement and decreased the components of academic procrastination. The results showed that training metacognitive learning strategiescan provide programs to increase and improve the students' academic achievement. This research has implications for teachers, trainers and school counselors who could use its outcomes to improve students' progress.

Abstract: 

Aims Favorable Educational status is one of the important aspects of students’ lives as future builders of the country. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between Islamic lifestyle with Educational self-efficacy and Educational Resilience in university students. Material & Methods In this descriptive-correlational study, 200 students of the faculty of psychology in the Islamic Azad University of Karaj in the Educational year of 2018-2019 were selected by simple random sampling method. Instruments for gathering data were Islamic lifestyle questionnaire, Educational self-efficacy questionnaire and, Educational Resilience questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and simultaneous regression analysis by SPSS 22 software. Findings There was a significant relationship between Islamic lifestyle with Educational self-efficacy and Educational Resilience in university students (p<0. 01). Among the components of the Islamic lifestyle, the components of beliefs, family, and health together predicted a total of 19% changes in Educational self-efficacy. Also, 32% of the variance of Educational Resilience variable was explained by the components of beliefs, family, health, thought and science and security (p<0. 01). Conclusion Islamic lifestyle can improve Educational self-efficacy and Educational Resilience in university students.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating role of procrastination in correlation between Resilience, vitality and academic performance of students with Learning Disabilities. The present study was of correlational methid and path analysis type. The statistical population included all elementary school students in Tehran during the academic year 1995-96. A total of 150 individuals of both sexes (70 girls and 80 boys) were selected by random sampling. They answered the Resilience Scale (ARS), Academic Vitality Questionnaire (AVQ), and Procrastination Assessment Scale for Students Questionnaire (PASS). The results showed that Resilience has a positive and significant relation with the vitality and performance of students. Also, procrastination has a meaningful and negative relationship with vitality and performance. On the other hand, the results showed that procrastination has a significant mediating role between vitality and performance as well as vitality and performance. Educational procrastination, Educational Resilience and academic vitality affect the Educational, economic, social and mental health of students with learning disabilities, and academic procrastination plays a mediating role in the relationship between vitality, resiliency and performance.

Abstract: 

The current research was conducted with the aim of identifying the employment competencies of Educational graduates from the perspective of view of employers. This research was applied in terms of purpose and was among the qualitative researches of Grounded Theory type. The participants of this research included 24 employers in the field of Educational (interviewers for the Education recruitment exam, directors of non-state Educational institutes, directors and recruitment officers of non-state schools, directors of kindergartens and preschools) in Birjand city. Data were collected using semi-structured interview and analyzed by Strauss and Corbin method and using MAXQDA-2020 software. In order to validate the research, two methods of member control and peer review or feedback were used. Consecutive review and comparison of data resulted in the extraction of 28 categories and 6 themes. Data analysis led to the formation of a sub-theory. The model shows that the focal variable is the process of education and teaching skills. The focal variable, under the influence of contextual and intermediate conditions, leads to the formation of the strategies of "being a lifelong learner", "research skills", "planning skills", "classroom skills and classroom management", "purposefulness" and "problem solving skills". became Finally, "increasing employability" was the consequence of this process.
